Getting started

Eslando is a B2B marketplace that connects textile waste sellers (collectors, sorters, traders, waste manager, manufacturers, etc) with buyers (mechanical/chemical recyclers, open-end spinners, re-use operators).

Collectors, sorters, recyclers, brands, corporates, manufacturers, traders, etc . We verify organisations before enabling their profile.

Sign up here with your work email, complete company KYC (legal entity, VAT/GST where applicable, contact details details) and choose a plan. We’ll review and activate you.

Yes. Organisations form anywhere in the world can join Eslando marketplace. Duties, taxes and import restrictions remain the buyer/seller’s responsibility.

We recommend a minimum of 5 tonnes per lot to get started—this improves shipping economics and matches buyer demand. Typical trial sizes are 1–5 tonnes for domestic buyers and around full a 40′ container for overseas buyers (≈17-25 tonnes by weight*). After successful trials, buyers often scale to steady, recurring supply.

You can still:

  • List and invite enquiries for consolidation (combine similar materials into one shipment), or

  • Offer samples and indicate when you expect to reach buyer’s minimum (e.g., within 30 days).
Note: Sub-tonne lots usually clear only for specialty/high-value materials or nearby buyers due to logistics costs.

Yes—buyers can request samples or small trial lots directly from a listing.

Using the marketplace

Sellers create a listing with material type, composition, colour, contamination notes, bale/packaging, quantity, location, price/terms, photos and lab data (if any). Buyers can inquire, request samples, or make offers.

Demands let buyers post a “wanted” ad so Eslando can match them to suitable supply fast. You create a Demand, specify requirements (material and form, composition/colour, quantity and timing, ship-to, Incoterms, target price), and add restrictions such as maximum moisture/contaminants and required certifications.

Images of the stock, Fibre composition (e.g., 95% cotton/5% elastane), form (bales, clips, fibres, yarn waste), colour mix, average piece size, moisture note, contaminants (zippers, trims, PU coatings), and typical yield.
